Hi folks I have 2 of these flat surface cleaners, they are the latest composite models which are less bulkier than the previous models. Still in the original boxes. They retail about the £400+ markI have paperwork to prove they are originals not the Chinese crap. Will accept any sensible offer.

Whirl a ways are chinese ….who do you makes them?
-
Canadian company based in abbotsfild BC, been to factory many times, infact my last visit was last week to pick up some stock. All parts are made in China but assembled in canda, guaranteeing canadian quality. Just Like apple, all parts are made in China but assembled in calafornia.

Tell them to buy some decent bearings and stop using the cheap poop they put them.

Curtis who's old man owns the company is a nice chap but as a company they have next to no interest in quality :) and I bet Genpower don't know you are buying direct, not a fan of genpower :D they've killed the market :)
Also as far as I am aware "All parts are made in China but assembled in canada" is not quite correct, they are shipped out direct from China - some products come via air freight from Canada but most come over on sea freight direct from the manufacturers whose name has escaped me at the moment.

Might be the case, but at the price I pay I cant grumble.
-
All of my fsc are swapped over every 3-5 months, so touch wood I don't en count such problems. Mosmatic is always a option?
-
lets be honest, most things are made in china, what you pay for is the after sales service which these large organisations give.

Lets be honest…you need to start first. What after sales service?
Whirl a ways are cheap chinese rubbish (unmodified) not Canadian . Replace the bearings and castors, the hose and they are actually very useable/durable.

Some very valid points, but there's always two perspectives to a story. My cleaning company which I run is treated as a hobby and something that I thoroughly enjoy. My import operations are run purely as a business mechanism, in business there are no ethics apart from the profit margin and if you can be cheaper than the competitors and provide the same service, whilst maintaining a low fixed cost your on to a winner. As pointed out my experience with whirlaway is one of a good one. I recently had a few bad ones in a bunch, they where good enough to have them returned back and on inspection, it was a factory fault, even my shipping was reimbursed!!!!!! I have recently started supplying a limited amount of equipment to organisations that treat Japanese knotweed, my product may be inferior to others that are available on the market, but my sales growth has seen a 30% growth month on month.
It's not always what you know it's sometimes a case of who you know. I know of individuals who import goods that you would think how the hell did they manage that, its all about greasing the middle mans palms, not ethical but fact.

Do you have a guide from for what you want for one of these?
And a picture should be helpful
-
Hi Mike, for singular purchases I usually sell them for about £350, that price is negotiable for larger orders. Though once I have cleared my current stock, hopefully by Monday I will be concentrating on my Japanese knotweed operations. I wont be back to the uk till tomorrow and I can send you some pics then. The latest 20inch ones are less bulkier than the previous models apart from that, pretty much the same.

Evening, :)
Do you only keep the 20"?
Drop me an email if you get chance. Thanks
Ben

Ben I can get any size, though I am concentrating on the knot weed side. As a one off I am sure I can sort something out.
