Title: shop signs / banner
Post by: JSMC on July 23, 2015, 09:13:31 am
Some of the large stores have these signs now which are banners. They are murder to clean. Got one to do and it has never been cleaned. Dirt ingrained on it now.

Better off buying a new sign lol

Do a couple of. Jobs with signs like this on retail parks.
If left for a long time cleaning with pure water will not get them clean and you will just waste your time.

I have tried virosol and tfr as well and that did nothing.

Best option would probably be soft wash or pressure wash to do a proper job.

I agree with the water being wasted but I would of thought virosol would of done the job.........
Pressure washing them will rip them to easy

It's just a case of finding the right chemical

I’ve not tried to clean one myself but the yanks tend to do a lot of vinyl type canopy cleaning which I suppose is something similar to a banner type sign.

The chap made a very interesting comment in the first vid to know what can be cleaned and what can't
