What reading are you getting on the controller?

Half turn type noise?

If you connected your reel, disconnect it, turn your flow right up and see if it kicks in properly after around 30secs...
(Air lock)

Failing that, try calibrating the controller
(Press & hold the two outer buttons on your controller until 'cal' shows, scroll all the way down to 'aut'. When a number flashes up, press the right of the 3 buttons)
(Pressuring your system)

Many Thanks for stepping in here Don.

Simon Don is spot on the controller does need to be calibrated to the pump and system then all you need do is switch on and away you go. Looks like you have it covered.
Thus is a link on calibrating the controller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kKoskb7l7c&list=PLUpfSwT7wIhfyiM-jbIDJPoH0UlNQZL9y&index=15
