Title: How To repair con roof
Post by: Mike #1 on July 16, 2015, 08:13:14 pm
So knocked a small decorative piece of the ridge of a conny roof so what is the best way to glue it back on its about 8ft from guttering .

I initially thought of using a grabber stick such as used for litter picking and putting some adhesive of base of decorative piece the putting back in place BUT it aint long enough .  ??? ??? ???

Oops!
Depends on the style of the conservatory if you can get at it hiring a consevatory roof ladder.
Myself I would ask a local conservatory install firm for a quote to sort it out properly to save all the hassle.

Take the brush off your pole. Put a long length of string up and down your pole with a loop at the top end to hold the piece. Put some super glue on the bottom and put in place. Loosen the string and hope for the best!!! Or knock the other one off!

Whether from above or from the side it is about 8ft or so .

The fix clamp is a good idea but you can't release it from a distance and when gluing on it will need to pressed on into place to ensure it ain't going to move
