Cleaning fascias today so used a bit of virosol is it normally ok if it gets on the glass
Was ok today just wondered for future

If we're spraying virosol we usually give any affected glass a quick brush and rinse befoe it has time to settle prior to concentrating on the plastics.

No problem some jobs I have sprayed Virosol all over frames and glass if they are rotten, brings them up s treat and some Ciff on the frames no probs
-

As with any of the TFR derivatives it's best not to let it dry on the glass

Also need to be very careful where the overspray lands especially if on sensitive surfaces, or you could be landed in trouble which you can do without.

Hello tadgh,
Are you aware of the ingredients in virosol and do you have something along the same lines that could be as good or better

Hi Matt, yes i am aware of the ingredients used in Virosol and as most guys probably know i have a total aversion to using high alkaline based harsh and aggressive chemicals been there done that and yes i have admitted that these harsh chemical cleaners have cost me on more than one occasion, but look its up to everybody to use whichever product they are happy with. we do promote safe and effective cleaning technologies and as we don't have a shopping cart up yet i will send you on more information under no obligation. regards Tadgh

Also meant to say that there are many janitorial suppliers in the UK who promote safe and effective cleaning solutions that can be used without having to worry for example having the product dry in on certain surfaces.

Though I use Viro-sol and find it very effective on first cleans especially, I've discovered it corrodes some plastics. I stored some in a washing up liquid bottle in my car for ease of use and kept having to replace the bottles as they kept splitting. It didn't register at first what was happening, till last week when the neck of the last bottle I used completely corroded away. Fortunately it was in another container.
