Rather than get my next franchisee a set of Screw fix telescopic step ladders for access, i'm going to get him a small set of double 'A' frame ladders.
I've found a set for £228 on www.ladders999.co.uk
Closed height of 2m or under is a must, as they're going in the back of the van.
Does anyone else know where to get a good set of these for a better price?
Cheers

If the ladders are just for access I'd go for these ones.

About £100 and less than 2metres collapsed, and they should be more than enough for access.
I'm thinking of doing the same and taking my big ladders off the roof if the van unless I need them.

Ive just bought a double set of ladder slides, this is with the intention of saving loadsa bovva with the ladder/roof-rack crud that does my head in, one set of slides is for the steps we carry.

I'd rather he had at least one section with a rubber bung on it, so it can be used to rest against conservatory gutters and such, for getting the trims really clean.
Good spot though!

Myself I like to carry in/on the van different ladders & accessories for different task as I've found no ladder suites every job
Conservatory ladder - brilliant bit of kit even when used without the roof ladder section
Small combi ladder - handy for inside conny work etc
12 rung combi triple with ankalad stabiliser fitted - roofline work and also can be used as a free standing ladder safely with the ankalad deployed. Top section comes so can also be used for other things too.
Various types of standoffs - microlite standoff (great for resting on roof tiles/flat roofs, Ladder Max Pro corner standoff (imported from the states) also carry a chepo V standoff that I hardly ever use now.
Hopups
Ladders spurs
etc
Plus various other ladders that I store and take them out if need be.
