Charge more. If they're desperate and it's short notice, suggest a price that you'd be happy to work a Saturday morning for.
-
Totally agree everything has a price.
-
+ 1... smurf them prices up ;D

My busiest times tend to be the weekends for full exterior cleaning jobs. Pays very well indeed so I don’t have to do much the rest of the week.

Stop yakking on here then! Chop chop! And use the tradesmen's entrance.

I've had a few like that in my time too. Never use the front door types and move your van around the back too while you are at it young man....Then the classic one keep chasing for payment and sometimes wait 3 months to get bloody paid the tight arse toffs ;D

Not a chance. I worked the odd Saturday when I first started to get me noticed, but haven't worked at the weekend in over 9 years. Not about to start on my anniversary weekend either. Dead man walking :D

I don't mind doing add ons on a Saturday. I have a gutter vac job worth £195 which will take about 2 hours. can't grumble at that :D
-
worked 1 Saturday yet so far this year .... used to do my add ons on Saturdays but now prefer to work hard Mon to Fri and fit as much in as I can manage .... windows, fsg, conny roofs (don't do add ons anymore for non customers apart from pressure washing)
only thing that would now get me out on a sat is a v.large pressure washing job.
Lay in on a Sat and an hour or so of checking bank statements against debtors list.
