Hi all, I'm gonna have my picture taken with my van,  now the question is, do I have my pole out? do I have my pole in my hand pointing towards the sky or have it horizontally???

I think your first problem will be taking the photo.  You just can't take a photo with a van, mate; sorry, but you just can't.

You need to use a camera to take a photo, mate.

I'd also suggest, when it comes to poses, is to take a range of different ones (with a camera, not your van, which you can't do anyway) and then choose the ones you like best.

I'd also do some google image searching and just reproduce the poses of the window cleaners you fancy with their poles.

No point in re-inventing the wheel is there?

You could print them off and give them to the photographer too; to help him/her understand what you're after.

Carpet cleaners don't use poles, it'd only confuse them.

if this is for your website then just stand proud with arms folded at the side of your van(slightly to one side so you can see your signwriting)with a big cheesy grin on your face! ;D ;D.leave your poles in the van. ;)
