At the moment approximately 25% of my work is bungalows. I have over the past 3 months or so been using a CLX-22 for everything and was just wondering whether it would be worthwhile investing in a shorter pole - say a CLX-10? This would not only be lighter but would be easier in tight spaces...
Do you reckon this would be a good investment? What do you guys do?

I'd say go for it.
I'm always looking for ways to work more efficiently and reduce wear and tear on me. If I don't have to use a longer pole I don't. My work is mainly terraced 2 & 3 bed houses with a few 4 bed town houses. I currently use a CLX-22, soon to be SLX-22 for the town houses and an SLX-18 for everything else. I use a 25ltr trolley as anything bigger is just too heavy for me, and I have three different lengths of hose for different parts of my round. The longest is 24mtrs and the shortest about 6 or 7mtrs.

For most bungalows I do and for a lot of ground floor stuff I use a CLX 4. Added to my height it's good for up to about 10ft and weights almost nothing. It's just 2 small sections and closes down to around 2ft to 2 1/2 ft.
For ground floor and tight spaces, you can't beat it. I don't know why more don't use it as it's cheap to buy, about £40, and easy to use especially when compared to longer length poles that are awkward when space is confined.

Thanks for your advice. Sounds like it would be a worthwhile investment.

the less poles the better for me.(take up less room in the van)
my xtreme 25 gets used for everything up to 30 ft(including bungalows)its so light and easy to use i dont see the point in getting a shorter pole for the odd bungalow i clean.
xtreme 47 for anything higher than 30ft
thats it.
i do have a short pole for washing the van but that stays at home.
if the space is that tight i find it easier just to trad ground floor windows

If space is tight a swivel comes in handy

Does anyone else trad bungalows?
I love WFP but for me a bungalow needs to be done trad. Unless a short ladder is needed of course. I am 6 foot 3 so not usually a problem for me.
Usually for me bungalows;
= old people + plant pots + gnomes = Jonny throws gnome at plant pot for snagging hose = - 1 customer.
