Do you use 1.5" or 2" hose? Does it really make a difference at 25ft.
Cheers

I have both 1.5" and 2 " and use a Airflex pro custom in parallel. I only ever generally use 2" and it has bags of power, much more than with 1.5". I use 50 ft of 2" as standard and it is more powerful than 25 ft of 1.5".

Have u being reading the bucket test thread on TMF   :D
I think its all questionable , especially at 25ft ... unless your gulping water .
The 2" feels more powerful , but is it just the large surface area of the 2" pulling on your hand ?
fact is if u put a lift gauge on both there is no difference  ...
I think long hose runs for sure 2" is beneficial ...  at 25 i doubt it but im not sure .

Also there is the practical side ..   if 1.5" is easier to use in a particular room i go with that .

I have been using drying times as a gauge rather than feel.

I would rather use 1.5" as it is easier to use, but the fact is 2" is better.

1.5...always found it does the job even when I've used 75 feet.

Although 2" can be a P.I.A. to coil up when it's cold, I find drying times are better than 1.5" on longer hose runs. But if I'm doing upholstery and the machine is near then 1.5 is better as it's more flexible if that makes sense.
