Title: Think I`ll stick to carpet cleaning!!

Decided to jet wash my patio today with my truckmount. (got a lance for it).
Trouble is, it`s only 1,000 psi. Black lichen spots all over it, lost half the grout which I managed to blast out and took all afternoon to do about 20 square metres !! Got another 60 odd meters to go. Think I`ll pay someone else to do it next time!! ;D

You need the right equipment, don't think I'd do much good to my carpets and laminate flooring with my pressure washer at 21 lpm and 3000 psi

Like smudger says you need the right equipment, a lance and 1000psi is the rug doctor version of pressure washing.

Search deosan red label or swimming pool/ jacuzzi  water sanitiser.

this will give you a supplier of hypo which will deal with the lichen
