Hi guys.
Does anyone use a pickup truck for wfp?? If so what are your thoughts??
Regret it or love it?
Size of tank?
can you put ladders on?
I am interested as I have a new family so four seats appeals. I am thinking of it as a family/ work vehicle.
Also need to get pressure washer in from time to time.
Thoughts?? Also any picks of the inside where the tank sits would be great to get an idea of the remaining space
Cheers

Do you come here often?

??????

I had a l200 barbarian for a while. Was a good truck but very limited with space in the back. Doubt you would get pressure washer and tank plus a reel in together. Juicy on diesel too.

get a van m8 :)

If you need seats get a crewcab.

Just got this. Very good.

Used to run an L200. Very thirsty! Get a Transporter or Vito crew cab, Cany go wrong.

I run an L200 limited space in the back but it aint thirsty for what it is and I Love It would'nt be without one i dont ever forsee me been without a truck .
If you are needing to put a pressure washer in the back you would struggle unless you get a custom built upright tank or the pressure washer can go on top of a flat tank and be secured for transit .

Very Very Nice Trucks Stuart ;) ;)

That's a serious piece of kit. What size tank are people having in there l 200?
I am thinking navara as I always wanted one with 250 or 350 litre tank and hopefully have enough space on the floor to get the jet washer on.
What's the dimensions of the load space?
-
Navaras eat clutches. So I was told
-
L200 double cab lwb with 350l upright tank, pressure washer, generator, vac, sand, brushes, hoses sit on top of tank and hose reel on back seat within a plastic tray, poles on the roof.
Could do with a trailer for a tower and a ibc.
Heavy on fuel? It's a myth!
All you'll hear is oh can't get anything in them, thirsty, poope. Show me a van that doesn't need fuel and will never ever break down and you can get everything that you must must have with all the bells and whistles in side. :)

My Navara clutch has done over 110000 so far. Peddle still has lots left.
32mpg in summer
350l tank in the back and did have a 2 man set up in it
I resented working so many days in the year to keep my van on the road when I needed a car anyway. So the truck is a good balance
