Title: MERLIN RO MEMBRANE TLC-350 - Is it Knackered?
Post by: Tom White on June 12, 2015, 09:54:34 am
Hi all, I've got one of these (pics below) and I've had it for years (maybe seven?) and I'm wondering if it's still okay?  There's water inside the packaging; is it damaged?  We just found it on a clear out.

Now you don't want to be responsible for that do you?

That'd be cruel, he's only little.

I don't know Tosh. But if it goes in one of the XXX gallons per day R/O's it looks a "funny colour".

When you buy them new they have a preservative inside.  If the pack is still a vacuum I'd say it's ok. Mind you, a Merlin needs two membranes.
