Title: do u have a rule of thumb for resanding drives

when pricing up resanding do any of u base your calculations on say one bag for every 10 metre sq

just wondering what ratio people use cheers

It all depends on how wide and deep the gaps are between the brickwork?

At £3:50 a bag from Wickes the price of the sand is irrelevant its not how much sand you use it how long it takes to drive back  there and resand.

I don't really want to be going back for less than £75 so a small drive is £75 if it's twice the size I might charge an extra £35 not double.

I'll take an extra bag just in case

I now pay £2.50 a bag so wasting some is pennies. Once you've done a few different types of block or drives you can just look at it and guesstimate. Sometimes I save a bag, sometimes I'll go a bag over, swings and roundabouts.
