Customer wants her tumbled travatine floor cleaned and resealed. It's not in bad condition and just needs a top up of sealant. The sealant used was Linofin stain stop. My question is, do I need to used the same impregnator sealant or will another work over the top of it.

Use the same sealer but wear a mask and plenty of ventilation with that stuff it's lethal

Thx Kev, I know it's lethal that's why I wanted to use something else. I thought once it's cured out and hardened that any other sealant could go over it.

If you were for example to use something like Miracle 511 Seal & Enhance then where it got in there is a good chance it will out perform the Lithofin and you run the severe risk of ending up with a patchy floor. A bit like trying to paint part of a white piece of wood with a different white paint scenario

Yes the MN is a solvent sealer but I wouldn't say it's lethal....just like anything you would use that has solvents and use a mask and ventilate the room.
Also don't Miracle sealants use solvents?
The Eco Stain Stop is not solvent based and has virtually no odour.

All the Miracle Sealers are Low Odour! Lithofin Stainstop & SS+ are terrible to use in comparison. I haven't tried the Eco but you have to be fair Lithofin have really missed the boat as far as Eco and Waterbase sealers go! If you bring Longevity and performance into the Equation they are not even in the same ballpark
