Ben asked a few times for a quote for roof cleaning, but steered clear up to now.    Been thinking of buying a scaffold tower, and working from it using a pole with attached fsc.               No idea of pricing, but was is the average time  taken to clean an average house  ?
 Thanks.

6 hours? Many things to factor in though, prep time for covering lawns, flower beds etc, managing the drainage, access issues, cleaning up and repairs! So 10 hours for 1 man?
Pricing is another story, I've heard of people charging £200 and others £750 for the same size of roof not actual work completed. I've got a scaffold tower and although they're easily erected its the transport that could be an issue.
-

Scaffold towers are ok for bungalows, but would be a nightmare for houses, where possible keep off the roof!

Roof cleans (full) start at £750 for a bungalow and £1200 + vat for a house

We always do these as a 2 man team, when we had one pressure washer it would be about 8 hours start to finish with clean up.

The last bungalow we did with two pressure washers took under 3 hours

There are some roofs a roof ladder is no use though. Think I've got one on my web site or on a gumtree add, where the tower would be useful (not that I used it).

Trouble is, how are you secure if fastened to a ladder ?

If in doubt leave it out.

Don't harness to the ladder, rope over the house.
Darren, what size picker is that and what's the cost of one?
-
That one was a 35 meter and was £650 all in with vat and operator

If all round access we use a local guy with a nifty lift who charges £180 for the day
