Title: Does the pump draw more power than the vac on a prochem galaxy

A weird question I know. Does anyone know whether the pump draws more power then the vac on a galaxy. i have just come from a job where the pump instantly tripped the fuse board in the house but now i am home it is completly fine. The vac was fine though. I wonder if they have dodgy electrics.

No, pump is likely 1-2amps and vacs 5-6 amps each in most machines. The pump has likely developed a fault causing the problem

Well that is what I thought the pump should draw less power, Works perfectly here at home though. very odd

is it leaking slightly or has it got damp, sensitive RCD`s in new builds will trip out buy an RCD plug and this will trip when there is a fault rather than customers electrics.

 feel like the pump is starting to run a bit slow over the last week or so ,might be the bushes on there way out , : ;)
