Title: Hose connection problem

This is my connection from my 250l tank, but I can't get a normal garden hose on it as the hose is to big anyone have any suggestions the hose size is 1/2

But if you really want it in the fitting you have then put the end of the hose in some hot water to make it supple, and then work it onto the barb fitting you have...
Depends on how much bigger the barb is though to how easy/possible it'd be though

Cheer lads, don kee the hose is to big so just slides on and off to easy so need smaller hose but microbore is to small

The barb comes in various sizes to fit different id on hoses

Plus, screw on a suitably sized  jubilee clip.

Use a John Guest style fitting instead and the appropriate size of tubing?

We've got these on all our tanks, never have any problems.

Ptfe wrap the barb to give it more girth then pop hose on & jubilee clip it.
