Was reading on this forum recently about people being injured and having no income, thinking it will never happen to me.
Last Saturday driving home on a quiet road in my wifes Mini, two boy racers came ballooning round a corner, one lost control and hit me head on. Luckily I have nothing broken but won't be working for at least 4 weeks, wifes Mini is a write off.
Driver that hit me finished up with both ankles broken, bloke that was racing him didn't even stop.
Will deffo be taking out some income protection insurance when I get back to work..

Went down docs with issue.
You need an Op like now!
In hospital two weeks later.
Should be back to work after a few days.
Stitches are now infected.
3 days off is now 2/3 weeks off!
So yeah it's got me thinking as well!!!!!!
Hope you make a speedy recover :) :) :)

Where there's blame, there's a claim.....

Interesting. Thanks for the post.
Perhaps we should post on here verying policies that are available if we come across anything decent.

My only problem with these insurance policies Is that for a decent one they are flipping expensive. £50 a month minimum to cover my basic expenses, and that's still cutting it tight every month.
I decided I'm much better just putting that money away in a savings account and then that way im not chucking money away never to be seen again.
If anyone has any decent policies though I'd be interested to hear?

I agree. They all try getting out of paying

It has changed over the years I pay a monthly premium of £25.00 .
To get a payout off 75% of my current taxable income each month until I retire if needed .
