Title: Facelift Phoenix cl clamps

Third clamp down keeps slipping I have tightened it but nothing seems to hold am I missing something or is it new nut and bolt like gardiners

the facelift clamps dont ave mch bite my last pole pheonix only lasted 12 months

yeag good poles  but sections wear out to quickly , my gardeners is on its second year  changevthe shims then grips good as new

Spray with a good quality laquer may well remedy it , Oh and buy Gardiners SLX   ;D ;D ;D next time mines over 2yrs old and still in good order

About a 18 months old nice pole not an SLx but I like extra 2ft over slx when doing third storey so need that clamp changed

If the clamps not gripping it means that the pole section has worn to the limits of the clamp adjustment so its
the pole section that needs changed.
Does it slip on the whole pole section or just at the top ?

Buy some resin that they use on fishing rods and rebuild thickness of pole so clamp grips again ,I have bought some but not got round to doing it .
