Should I get some more PB or is RF better...anybody tried them both?
-
I`ve never tried rocket fuel but I would think Power Burst goes a lot further being a powder. Don`t think you can go far wrong with PB.
-
I think rocket fuel was realy designed for synthetics as its a very high ph TLC
-
Rocket fuel mixes at 10-1 .....need I say at more??
-
Yes just seen that Mike...PB it is.
-
not massively impressed with rocket fuel at all, and not very economical, powerburst is much much better in my opinion.....
-
Who sells Rocket fuel?
-
restormate.....
-
It would be interesting to test rocket fuel against Craftex champion Both are high ph presprays for manmade fibres.
-
Champion was realy meant for hard floors, and at ph 13 would you realy want to apply it to any carpet ?
Stuart

It says carpet & upholstery prespray on the container, isn't rocket fuel in the high ph range?
-
Champion is derived from sodium hydroxide one of the most corrosive and damaging ingredients used by cleaning chemical manufacturers, i was going to say that it needs to be used with extreme caution but from first hand experience i would recommend to stay well away from these type harsh and aggressive cleaning chemicals.

Mike
Rocket fuel, is high ph but not that high

I wouldn't use either but PB is the best of the two and is good stuff, but I think Enzall from.Chemspec is better in my opinion

I would agree with it being 13.5 on the pH scale it should be a no no, for me i would not let it near a customers carpet, upholstery, hard floor, or any surface for that matter.

Champion is a brilliant cleaner for really trashed manmades. I have even used it on soot damaged wool wiltons with an acid rinse with outstanding results. This was as an alternative to writing off the carpets as wool safe products just wouldn't cut it.
