how much would you pay for a crash tested anchor system tested to 9000kgs
ie you supply the tank and they it with there anchor system
you could remove the tank in 15 mins and reinstal it just the same the anchor system stays in place
just thinking of having one fit
-
you can have them instal it or diy instal as long as you follow the protocols and instructions you will get a certificat off them
-
nobody any thoughts
-
Couldn't say how much I'd pay until I actually saw one fitted, however its sounds a good idea does the anchor system take up much room in the back of the van
-
And is that 900kg the actual crash test weight or the weight you can go up too and have fitted
-
the anchor system takes up no room at all depending what you want it can be mounted transverse or longways just 2 rails in the van
as i understand it it will take up to 9000 kg over a 2 meter section not 900 kg
iam having mine fitted on 25th may i will post some pics then
-
how do you post a photo

tank now fitted the tank can be removed in 15 mins giving it flexability and the options of doing other things
-
Looks interesting ....
-
someting to ponder over will put more pics up later
this system will be available to window cleaners shortly as diy or proffesional coachbuilders
-

looks very good Stephen and would definitely be interested when I change vans
but am I the only one completely confused by that attached diagram ? I cannot understand it at all ???
-
i think that looks really good and great for people wanting to take tanks out when needed. Personally i like it in a frame more for the reason you can utilise the frame by attaching all pumps controllers etc to them..but that does look a good alternative depending on what it costs,.
-
i will try to answer mr bit and pw1 together
pw 1 this isnt an alternative for not having a frame this is the ultimate anchor system the likes of which window cleaners have never seen, let me explain,
we have only ever seen tanks bolted down transversly befor regardles of which supplyer and what the tank was be it framed or unframed ar any shape,
now this system is so flexible the track can run side to side or front to back or both
i work a bit diffrent to most of you guys i dont use the van system with hose reels a lot what i do have is two trollys and 2 hose reels and 2 backpacks the diagram shows this the red lines are the tracks the first yellow are the tanks the second are the trollys and last the hose reels if i want to use them all of these are anchored down and all can be removed in minutes leaving your van empty for other things you may want your tank at the back of the van for some reason or in the middle no problem just slacken the anchors slide over and retighten you may want to put a second tank in your van another set of anchors and your done no drilling or messing about
-
i have only had the tank fit now in a couple of weeks i will have the other tracks in the second pic this is how i want my tracks you could have them lined diffrent or even 4 tracks put in this system is so flexible
