Title: How to connect 4040?

Can anyone help please. trying to connect up my new 40-40 and I don't know which connector to put the hose with the tap attached onto. The hole in the side or the hole in the end? Is this right what I've done?

you got this wrong. tap goes into side port where you have 90 degree connector.  pure water comes out from the middle side port (currently tap connected) and goes into your resin bottle.
if you run it like this you will never get enough pure water as you will be constantly flushing it

Agree.

Inlet from prefilters on the other end with single port. Waste as per MartinW on the side and pure where you have the waste.
