Title: Not all crooks!
Post by: sunshine windows on May 08, 2015, 02:05:10 pm
I think I found a customers wedding ring on their kitchen window cill earlier this morning. Probably taken off to plant some flower pots.   Popped it into an envelope and put it through the letterbox with a note on the front.

Fingers crossed it will make someone very happy!

Just saying 😀

Good on you. I once found some jewelry on an extension roof. I posted it through the letterbox without a word. I was dumped the following month!

It probably belonged to the guy the missus of the house was shagging. He might have made a hasty retreat over the detention when hubby came home early.

Dear Sunshine,

Thank you for putting my wedding ring through the door - however I also put my engagement ring next to it, did you find that? It had 3 massive diamonds and was made of platinum. It's value is £3000.00

By the way, are you insured?

A. Householder

The insurance had not paid out yet.
