We have used Shurflo pumps for years with no issues, We were kitting a new van out and decided to try a flojet pump as they seem to be recommended, We bought the pump from Gardiners
Since day one the pump makes a screeching when pressurising, To reduce this we lowered the 'Cal' to around 20, This causes the rinse to pulse when cleaning high level windows
Is this noise a fault or just a characteristic of Flojet pumps?

Mine does it too. I think there's a pressure relief valve inside somewhere, I had to back the pressure down to stop it. Not impressed with it for what they cost.

I had to loosen pressure switch screw to stop it with mine after having chat with Oliver from GrippaTank.

What model flo-jet pump is it?
