So I have have a freebee for adwords and once in a while I'll display an add in a certain town. I don't usually do adwords but thought I'd use up my remaining credit.
So here's the funny thing. Some complete idiot who perhaps has nothing better to do, has no work or maybe paranoid to local companies, continues to click on my adwords add every time it comes up in a certain town.
Today he or she clicked on my add perhaps 10 times. Two months ago I had the same campaign and also they continued to click on the same add.
The person responsible uses the same PC, browser and operating system but chooses to change their ip address before clicking on my add. :-)
What they don't know is that Google identifies their device and invalidates their clicks.
Therefore I will have another report of invalid clicks despite this moron wasting their time. ::)roll

Some people have nothing better to do, they should just get a life

if you have servers logs you can report it to google adwords and they will investigate it, if you right and all clicks from one IP yiu should get your credits back.
Also from logs you can find this IP and ban it in you adwords page yourself.

If the the clicks come back as paid although they may well be invalid, Google will refund the money. I have done this several times in the past. As long as you show you evidence they will have no choice.
However, what sort of beggars belief is that there is always some moron who is relentless.
I've discussed this several times with Google. It now seems evident that they have way of identifying any device so most of the clicks will be invalid despite attempts at changing ip addresses.
