Hi all, I've been looking for a little run around for myself. There is a lot of 1.3 Multijet engined vans about.
Are they up to carrying 350 litres of water? Anyone had experience?

Easily James.
I've had 2 fiat Doblo 1.3 multi jets and they're superb little vans. Both fitted with 400ltr tanks

My 1.3 Multijet Doblo - here's the story.
Got it new in 2006 - fitted a 400L tank.
In 2011 I took on Dan the Man and started towing a 200L trailer - so now the little Doblo is two men up, plus a 400L plus a 200L trailer.
Ran like this for six months and bought a Hyundai and put a 650L in it. Kept the Doblo with a 200L and guttervac gear.
Last October (2014) I rented out some of my round to Dan the Man and he now runs the Doblo on his own with a 400L in it.
So it's now 8 years old plus and runs perfectly. (Only done about 45K mind)

I ran a 2007 Doblo 1.3 multijet with 400 ltr system for 4.5 years & it was a faultless van. A truly fantastic vehicle & what must be one of the best diesel engines of all time. I was amazed with such a small engine just how good those vans are- especially given mine was near it's maximum payload most days!!
