I will be Interested to see how well this works for you I am planing on doing the same thing with my Airflex. This should give you 330 cfm and 150" water lift.
When do you get it?

Check the model number to make sure they actually fit one of the more powerful ones .
-
Well all three are fitted or so iam told, and running in well
-
There is a slow start up device being fitted today so that should prolong the motor armature, I think John Martin has this type of device already fitted in his Enforcer

I would be very interested to know if anyone has had any trouble or had an Electro motor blow in the last two years ?

Any news?

Got my Scorpion back yesterday afternoon, to be honest I am disapointed, they dont seem anymore powerfull than my other Scorpion thats fitted with 5.7 lamb 1500 watt motors, but the electos are rated at 1600 watts so there must be some difference!
You just cant tell at the wand, if I had known I wouldn't of bothered as these motors were a lot more expensive than the Lambs
Stuart
-
What did you pay for them?
-
£130.00 each plus vat I only paid half that for the Lambs and they were 1500 watt

what electro model number did u get fitted ?
-
I dont have that information at hand john but I will find out, they are definitely 1600 watt does there model number make a difference ?
Stuart
-
Not a whole lot ... but I wouldn't trust someone else not to mix the various models up . It's not like they have 1600w written on then .
u might have just been expecting too much for a very similar setup . It's probably not possible to detect 30 cfm and half a hg.

you can't get genuine USA Lamb Ametek motors for £60 - not unless you source and import direct yourself as far as i can see. Were you fitting European cheap 1500 watt Ametek motors before?
-
I wont reveal there name but I have an account with a supplier down south and they are genuine lamb motors think the last batch cost me £70 plus vat each or a bit less cant remember exactly

I think Johns right it could just be that the set up is very similar and the performance difference is minimal.. 330 cfm vs 285 cfm and about + 10" water lift. You may possibly notice over a longer hose run.. put 100 ft on it and give it a go. Also you may possibly notice a difference after you have used it a little while.... maybe.
