Title: Approaching estate agents offering cleaning ?
Post by: wpclean on April 15, 2015, 06:29:46 pm
I have just been looking at house for sale, and noticed how some of them  have really grubby drives, and upvc etc.    I am thinking of putting together a cleaning  brochure with pictures of work done, and giving to all the estate agents in my area.

Do you think it would be better, and try and speak to the manager ?    I was thinking of of  selling the idea of giving their clients our details, and explaining  how the houses would be more presentable, and so be easier to sell.

Any thoughts gratefully appreciated  ;D

cut the middlemen out and use rightmove to find houses for sale with dirty drives etc easy enough to get full address for mailshot

Don't bother!   Just knock the doors of the houses that are for sale and point out to them that tarting up the front of their house might help to sell it quicker

I'd never work for estate agents without money up front again. Time and time again they take the preverbial.

Sorry I didn't mean working for the agents,  I was talking about the agent giving the house seller our details, so they can contact us to arrange the cleaning.

We have been cleaning quite a few customers  recently who are selling up, and want the house to look pristine.

Samson , I did this and  now  work for several estate agents.  They don't ask for quotes anymore just send job sheet.
Anything from one off windows to maintaining their portfolio of properties.  Also get job leads from their customer database
Send them an email , you have nothing to lose
