Ive nearly finally got myself set up with my 40 40 Low pressure membrane static system,
Ive just connected my taps together one for flushing and one to regulate waste flow to pure water output.
My mains tap pressure is just below 40Psi, ive not fitted a booster pump as I was told I didn't require one.
Does anybody know water sort of waste to pure I should set my tap at......Water is currently coming out of RO membrane at 4TDS.
I was thinking of timing it, maybe setting it at 100 ltrs per Hour.....???
Any Thoughts fellas.....??

Gaps web site give details of how to find the sweet spot of your RO . I have no idea on mime what the ratio is. All I know is that at 4 Bar I get zero TDS using the Gaps method.

Get yourself a gate valve as it's much easier to adjust pure/waste ratio. As long as you are not on the meter start off with 30% pure to 70% waste. You can time it with 1 litre jug and stopwatch if you want. In line tds meter would be handy as you can see output tds. Close the valve until you get the lowest tds. You will notice that at certain point it will start going up as you close the valve. Back it up to sweet spot. Hope this helps you out.
