Hi guys,
Needing to get another pressure washer, mainly for backup but smaller than the gx390 as it's also for some "remote" working where a lighter more mobile machine will be good enough.
Seen a lonchin at jet mac for a good price, but are they as good as honda power ??
Any preference on the pump? I love my inter pump and they are the pump of choice on the machines I hire, so no experience of other makes.
If you have a decent 2nd hand one (10 to 15 ltrs per min and 180 bar + pressure) I'd be interested
Thx

What do you mean by "remote working " ?

A Loncin will never be "as good" as a Honda. You will always sell a Honda secondhand…you can't give away a Loncin. Saying that tho' Loncin make engines for BMW motorcycles . The Loncin will be fine and spares are readily available.
I have just built some new machines for cladding and gutter work… I opted for 200bar 11lpm so the are easily portable and do not require a reservoir …straight connection to a domestic hose pipe. There is plenty of power as long as you are not trying to move mountains of crap..ie moss on a driveway.
For vertical work, gutters, cladding or running round the edge of a drive with a turbo nozzle there are fine.
I used Briggs engines and Ar pumps.

Thanks, yes basically it's light work, cladding, decking etc not drives
Remote as in the sites are off road, some footpath access only but all have a mains supply, they are as far as 30 mtrs from the "roadside" and a gx390 is bloody heavy to push over rough woodland paths so something a bit lighter is required

I use a locin for gutter work and what a piece of poo. Its a bitch to start, will only on choke for the first 5 mins and needs regular plugs. Locin rings are soft as phut and wear out quick. I have gone right over the engine and it should be right but its still a pup. Spend a bit more and get a Honda / interpump or the like.

Honda I know and love ;D - never ever needed more than one pull to get it started, although the same can't be said for a couple of the hire ones :-X
I seem to remember reading somewhere loncin were as good as honda, but wanted to make sure before committing £££ to one
