Title: Best Supreme brush?
Post by: Dave Willis on April 07, 2015, 04:52:25 pm
Ok lads, I want to know which one is going to be the best maintenance brush? It has to be fast probably mono but most important it must eat snail trails, I don't want to spend the summer scrubbing those snot trails off twenty scrubs at a time.
I want one brush only not the whole range.

I've got the soft and medium hybrids but will be using the soft hybrid for maintenance cleans moving forward. Used to use the Extreme flocked hybrid but will stay with the supreme even after only using it for a few days.

The soft hybrid has made short work of the snail trails I've come across so far although they're haven't been that many.  It looks as though the brush will be fairly robust and it's easy to keep the stock away from walls as the splay gets the bristle down the edge of the frame really nicely.

May use the medium hybrid for first cleans but I do usually use a sill brush for those, think the extra weight helps to get the really dirty ones clean the quickest.

I've only tried the soft hybrid. But I really like it.

If your main priority is weight, then stick with the extremes, but for me the supreme is a good balance between scrubbing power and lightness.

It splays out better than any brush I've used so far, and it has excellent scrubbing power in the centre with the natural bristles.

Today i have been struggling to keep up with a new starter.

He was using the soft/hybrid and i was using the medium/hybrid.

I had a go with his brush and told him to bugger off and use the medium.

The soft version is very fast on Georgian sash windows!

Out of all the gardiner brushes I've ever used this new hybrid soft is the best yet. I'd like to see the difference between the  medium hybrid and soft.

I don't think you'll be disappointed Dave. Those natural bristles in the middle of the brush are the ones that do away with the snail trails quite easily. I've been using it all day today. Very happy with the way it cleans.  Not much drag, extra work  power with a little more pressure to engage the middle bristles. I think it will last quite well too.
