I currently use a clx 22 for most of my work, and I have a piece of crap, being an xtel pole that I use for higher windows but it is to heavy and I want to bin it.
Would I be better off purchasing extensions 6 and 7 for my clx or would it be better to buy a slx with extenions 6 and 7
My main concern is how much the clx will bend with extensions.
Is the slx more rigid with extensions fitted compared to clx.
All advice appreciated

It's like night and day tbh over 22/25ft.
Why skimp on the thing you use every day?

On and you could buy the slx extensions first and see how they perform. If not too your liking. Buy an slx.

how high do you need to go?
a 25 ft extreme gets most of my regular work including 3 storey.extreme 47 for anything higher.these 2 poles is all i need.
an slx 25 would be a good choice if your budget wont stretch to an extreme.light enough to use all day and fairly rigid at full stretch.

I would buy the slx and I think it will fix both poles. Check with gardeners.

Hi Colin, to answer your original question, I would go for the slx extensions then when you maybe upgrade your clx you would have a all carbon pole that would clean upto 35 foot. Hope this helps. We have slx ext 6,7,8 on a slx22, we could of got away with 2 extensions but having the 3 means we can 3/4 extend all the sections which makes the slx super rigid at the higher heights, Regards, Dave.

Just buy an slx 35 or whichever your maximum height needed is. You can always remove / add sections ( slightly cheaper than buying a new pole and extensions ).
You'll get money back on flogging your clx on ebay.
