Nice finish there dazmond, did you just use pure or any chemicals?
Done a full house valet today including con roof, used virosol which got rid of the green algae no probs but the edging of the conservatory was dulled and stained, virosol didn't touch it.
In the end I got out the good old cif cream, used neat on a microfiber and wiped down the edging and it came up great.
Took a while though so got me thinking there must be something I can spray on the stains that will remove them quicker.
Personally I'm starting to think that virosol isn't all that so time to start scouring for something more effective.

I find brillo pads pretty good on dull edges etc always pretty handy in local shops if needed

not sure that's what he meant by scouring for something more effective :o

it was easy due to access from a flat roof :)

I've also come to that conclusion. Apart from specialist cleaning, I think to a large extent we are being conned by chemical manufacturers into buying stuff that doesn't really make that much difference.
It's the scrubbing that does most of the cleaning with or without a cleaning solution. I've also found I get better results with ecover washing up liquid than either Virosol or G101.

Done another fascia job today, used virosol at first, like you said still alot of scrubbing to remove the stains.
Switched to cif applied directly to brush head, much better results.
It foams up nicely, removes the green and black from fascias with ease and leaves a much nicer finish then virosol.
If anyone uses any superior products for cleaning fascias etc I would love to hear about them.
Iv tried ubik, craftex champion, virosol, cif, ecover. For me the best is cif

A bit pricey though as its only a liter bottle, but gave great results on conny roof cleans and green algae frames.
