Title: Is my booster pump all pumped out?
Post by: Afterglow Window Cleaners on March 27, 2015, 05:04:24 pm
Hi guys,

Been having a lot of trouble producing water from my RO lately. I never had an inline pressure gauge before so ordered one and fitted it just after the pump today. Results are as per the video I took below, with the pressure gauge needle jumping all over the place. i am guessing the pump is totally worn out, but if it could be something else, any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Gary

it's a John Hewitt one that came with my RO, run with a timer as it's not for constant use.

Where is your gauge fitted in the system?

I had fitted one after the pre filters and it skiped and jumped but then after further reading I fitted the guage before the last ro membrane to give a calm reading. That is on a 450gpd.

Fitted directly after the pump
