Title: Leaking filter - again
Post by: heritagecleaning on March 19, 2015, 05:00:50 pm

For the second time this filter has failed and solution has started peeing out the bottom of the Mytee. I replaced it last year but it's gone and done it again  :-X

I was thinking of just removing it and fixing the hoses toether, or getting a new piece of hose, There is a filter in the solution tank anyway.

What do we reckon?

That looks like a good idea Mike. A lot cheaper than the £16 I had to pay for the exisitng plastic thing. How do the hoses fix on to that brass filter?

1/2" BSTP x 1/2" hose end? Or will I need to measure?
Cheers Mike - you never fail to come up with a good solution to a problem  ;D

The parts I listed were only an example  of what to use, you will need to purchase both in a size that matches the hose  your going to connect it to in the machine.
