I have the T220 and I have cut a hole through the metal bulkhead and fitted two PVC tubes through to carry my poles. Had my van 3 years and very happy not spent anything on her so far. Have a 350 lit up right tank which I do not feel is there half the time. Great van.

I to have this particular pole which is why I need my iveco to carry it .

i have the connect T230 LWB.poles fit in easily but theres room above the cage bulkhead and i only use gardiner poles so you might struggle with a smaller van and a brodex pole.
IMO i think you should rethink and go for a LWB version.the hi roof is great for storing poles in tubes and the T230 has a 900 kg payload so a 500L TANK is just about ok full to the brim and all your other gear first thing in the morning.

Here's mine, 220 swb connect.
25 foot extreme fits in no problem.
What's the closed length of your pole?
-
Collapsed length of pole is 2.4m or
94 inches

I like look the new shape connect, think one model has 1000k payload, although not sure about the new smaller engine I think there 1.6 d
since I'm downsizing from the transporter will start looking end summer still in two minds as I love my transpoter but all things change

Got one. It's the l2 long w/b 240 model that carries 1006 kg 106 psi 1600cc
For Petes sake after the transport take the ford on a big test drive before you buy it, they are massively under powered imo. To meet the EEC emissions I suspect
Fuel is p poor too, although being a Ford I kinga new that but like you I liked the shape.
From brand new in Sept to now 3100 miles and just get 30 mpg
500 litre tank and old git driver.
You have been warned lol

Hi tony
Thanks for advice, 30mpg is very low, maybe I'll have to rethink just like shape and some of the features
Maybe they'll rethink and increase engine size a little
Appreciate your comments

Maybe, but it stops the warranty I've been told.
