Title: Should have worked today
Post by: Dave Willis on March 13, 2015, 12:03:53 pm
Ah well,
Met office done their usual duff forecast - heavy rain 'till four pm.

All over by 9am I reckon, still, got some jobs done around the house.

www.raintoday.co.uk gives you a much better view of what's going to happen over the next few hours than any forecaster.

I use an app on my phone called 'rain alarm'. It doesn't forecast but it shows a map of the UK (or your part of the country if you zoom in) and the weather from the last hour to present time. 'What good is that??' I hear you ask...... Well, its good cos it shows the rain moving towards your area and you can see how big the rain cloud and predict how long it will last. Obviously 100% accurate  ;)

I gave up on their forecasts...

Most times its easier to look out the window.  or go to work expecting the rain to stop soon.
