YES THEY DO MAKE A KIT.  But you can make your own by fitting the John Guest so that it come out of the bottom of the pole when closed. And if you are up for a little more effort you can drill a wine bottle cork and feeding the hose throughand inserting it at the bottom of the 1 st section and silicone the John Guest fitting so half protrudes out of the lower 1st section and therefore will protrude out of the pole when closed allowing you to remove the pole at will.

look back through my posts guys, i posted the guide up from what someone sent me, ive not had time to do it myself yet but ive had the sleeve fitted inside the pole for a while, i just need to securely fit the male rectus inside as i dont want mine hanging out the end!

Its really easy.
Done this 8 months ago to my smax 40.
I just held the male rectus fitting flush in the end of the first pole section with a bit of polymorh ( google it, its a re-usable modelling plastic that you melt in hot water, available now in maplins as well as ebay etc. ) although I like the cork idea too.
If I can be bothered I may post some pics after Monday when this site enters the 21st century  ;)
One pole, covers everything, breaks down from a 40 to a 25 to a single section for gf.

well after reading this post this morning i decided to make an effort to finish this and basically i put a piece of gardiner minibore reel hose sleeved over the thin pole hose and jammed it in the end of the plastic pushfit insert, fits really snug, i didnt have a reel to pole hose barbed joiner so for now ive sleeved it again and jubilee clipped it and itdoesnt slow the flow etc then covered it in thick black tape, tried it all and works a treat every time!
only issue i will have is i need some sort of sleeve for the rectus female end as that will be dragging across the floor and wont last long!

The link is in this thread to the guide. So easier to check that.

Yes I was. That company doesn't exsist anymore. Hence name change.

I've used it on the sliding sleeve of a gardiners pro hoselock female connection before and it worked, although that's a bit bigger, no reason why not. may be a bit fiddly but the good thing is you can melt it down and re-use again and again, trial and error. Nothing to lose really in trying, this stuff should be in everyone's toolbox, its so useful. ;)
