hi guys,
Im looking at getting a smallish wfp system for my van. At the moment most of my work is traditional.
Im not looking for anything big or fancy, just a small system that can be used when required.
Ive thought about a trolley system but came across this.
ecostream 250ltr system. it is £1120, this includes battery and hose. i already have a couple of poles.
as i said im just looking for something not too big ,if anyone has this system or knows anything about them, any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks
danny

Mate for that sort of money you could shop around and by all the bits separatly and build something better.
It's not hard, there's plenty of info out there, including on this forum.

you can get all new for around £700,
battery,
controller,
pump,
reel+hose,
water tank.
all good quality as well.
jubilee clips,
hozelock connectors

Thanks very much for the info guys

Add an 11L DI bottle to that list, and an RO of some sort, a bag of resin, and if you shop round you will still only spend £700
I bought a leisure battery at first, but now I just use the one of an old van, or scrap yard for £10
Pump & controller brand new £150 or eBay about £100 used
Hose and reel about same or eBay anything from £20 - £100
You need look on eBay for a tank anything from £30 - £140 try make sure it has outlet on
Bits & bobs inc hose, max £70
DI bottle £30
RO £50 - £400
I think that pretty much it

i should have explained a bit better
ive had a diy system for about 6 years and ive hardly used it.
i have a tank, a shurflo pump, heavy duty battery i had for last van, hose reel and a couple of poles.
when i fill the tank at home, i use the following procedure
water tap - resin vessel - tank
its a bit messy and old now, but still works
i was just wanting something a bit more tidy and compact.
as i said i hardly use this system but could change a few jobs over to get more use out of a new one
capn sparkle, tds reading is quite high before i use the resin,
thanks again for your comments guys

You need buy am RO, what you will save in resin will pay for it, I don't do a massive amount of wfp but still quite a bit by using my Merlin reduces water pre DI bottle to about 14, my resin lasts forever
