Hi guys thinking about getting a dryer. What are your experiences and any pros and cons to each type?
The pod looks handy but less powerful

if you have a proper air moover already then dri pod is a nice toy, small to carry in the van but good only for mattresses, rugs etc. too small for full rooms.
there are available better blower and small enough, blue from driez as well and another one black from other company, do not remember, but the black one is cheaper.

Thanks bud, never used an airmover but want to be able to gaurantee dry as possible as its a big selling point tk customers.
Seen black truvox on ebay for £120posted so similar price to the pod new from restormate.
Space is limited in my van also which needs consideration

I have 3 dri pods and always carry at least the 2 in the van. They are stackable and fairly small.
I also have the velo which is quite large but very versatile. (lovely in the summer heat :p)
Don't always use them but they work fine when needed. Just have to make sure to put pads under the feet of the dri-pods or they press into the pile which is a nuisance when it's dry.

There a viper on eBay, new, 199 or best offer, I offered 160 and got one. Nice piece of kit, looks very professional, works well

I bought a snail years ago But unless you are cleaning lots of rooms I do see the point as they are never going to dry the carpet in the time that you are there.
But perhaps I do not use mine right
Plus they are heavy Blow everything about so you need to watch out for chimneys etc or you will get soot all over the carpet

yeeep
whole room dryier would suit better but bigger to store and harder to operate

I have three dripods and use them on most carpet cleaning jobs, I can leave most carpets almost dry , which is a good selling pointmwhen the custy rings for a quote

I use a dri pod, Its a great bit of kit, a lot easier than the larger old snail dryers. Not as much airflow but ample to put in a room after cleaning.
