One of my cycling gang is a business man who runs his own company with several offices. Asked me to quote and clean his house and business premises. Quoted £20 and cleaned his house. Quoted £30 for his office block and got a crappy text wanting to know why it was so expensive. I told him it was minging that's why. Started haggling over £10 - told him to stuff it. First time ever I've been accused of being too expensive!
Mates and business don't mix.

Correct!
But at least you didn't do the 'mates rates' thing.
That's even worse.

If your not being told your too expensive at least once a month then your undercharging
its time to up your prices.
-
Nothing wrong with mates rates, I add about 30% extra onto the price for mates.

If he wants them done cheaper tell him to bring the windows to you. ;)

I don`t know how big his offices are but tell him to get stuffed from me too. Those prices are cheap. What does he do for living and work for nothing. Does he work for a charity.
