Lost a cracking job today due to site closure. Surprise no surprise; an American outfit DHL recently bought them out. This is my fourth loss due to Yank takeovers in my two years of going solo. It was a similar story at my old firm.

Now whenever I'm told, "We're being taken over by an American firm", I put their account details in my "On the way out within six months" folder.

Ps: Anyone need a hand a day a week in the Birmingham area :'(

One of my better commercials has been cancelled since a takeover in December - don't think they were American tho' - and the windows haven't been done since.
