Was set on getting SLX, only want a 18ft, ive got a 27ft pole to leave in the van for everything else. 18 reaches most my day to day work. Ive got a fairly new clx and the clamps are ok but they spin when you open em up and can be annoying! Exceed does look pretty smart to be honest, nice clamps by looks of it.
Any more reviews on exceed? What would you go for?

I have just got a 18 Ex Ceed. Clamps are the same as Gardiner clamps and spin when fully open. Its a very light pole. easy to use. Hose less system is ace but keeps popping off my SLX. I use Aqua dapter so I have to keep pulling the hose. The pole hose is the best I have used yet. Steve was fantastic getting me set up, yet can not get hold of him for love nor money the last week.
Cant give a review yet as I havnt used it enough or got it all set up as it should be.

the hose less set up on the exceed is very good, but imho the quality of the clamps is not a patch on the gardiner clamps.
only tim will tell how good they are but comparing the 2 side by side i wold go with the SLX

I have to fully open clamps so the sections will slide down when held upright. I only have to open half way with SLX. Do you find it the same?

haven't got an exceed as they were out of stock a couple of weeks ago, so I bought a couple of slx's and a phoenix pole, bot are absolutely great not much between them these days, the black pole hose on the phoenix is great as well, as for brushes, we go gardiners all the way
