Tim,  I've had the Storm for about a year now and ALWAYS use the magma heater with it - IMHO it makes a huge difference, and I consider it an essential bit of kit.

Especially useful on those jobs where there's no hot water coming out of the taps!

Tim, for the first 2 years i didn't use heat then i had an opportunity to get a second hand Magma and i find it great and use it on every job.  Water is hot within a couple of minutes even from cold, usually i will clean the cleanest bit of carpet first to get machine up to temp and then tackle the dirty bits.  This particular heater has been designed to clip on to the back of the Airflex Range although it can be taken on and off in seconds if need be.
