Ever get to the survey and cannot rememebr how to convert yards to feet or feet to meters and back gain, or ever get your chemical ready to mix-up and you need to diltute 2 parts per gallon but only have a litlre measuring jug, i do, every time (probalby cos im new). Anyway it promted me to find this.
http://www.initium.demon.co.uk/converts/metimp.htm
I put "1" in the all the left hand side feilds and printed of for reference, it even tells you how conversion is achieved.
Hope this helps someone out.

Hi,
Google offers this service for many types of units if you search for eg
convert 1m to inches >> 1 meter = 39.3700787 inches
I guess the trick is to have it on a mobile device ;)
