I used the dreaded yellow hose you get free with gardiner poles for a year and I used to get so annoyed.
Order the gardiner all season pole hose it's 100x better

is gardiners all season pole hose suitable for push fit pole taps or do you have to get john guest fittings as well?as i need some more pole hose.

the aqua-daptor orange stuff is great with cold water.might just get some more.

Hi Dazmond, yeah, you can use the all season in the tap, but use the JG fitting barbs, as they will make it a better fix.

streamline lite 5mm would be ideal if the outer hose were made baby smooth instead of being covered in tiny dimples which attract all the dirt when laid on the ground which then ends up riding inside the poles.
Gardiners yellow all season hose is the worst stuff I've ever used as it's too supple to coil, ends up all twisted up and spend too much time untangling it, it also kinks and folds too easily.
I prefer the red PU hose from gardiners.

the red PU hose i got with my extreme 25 last dec split at the base of pole after 6 weeks use so its put me off getting anymore of this hose.also its too stiff for cold water IMO.

Has anyone used the Xline pole hose?
I use 50m of pole hose on my reel instead of microbore. (Acutually it's 50m of pole hose attached to 50m of minibore).
I currently use Aquadapter red and it's ok but i'm always looking for something with less memory.

Hi Dazmond

The PU hose we sell is only recommended for use with warm/hot water systems. For cold water systems it is too stiff and will cause issues.

Most people hated this stuff! That's why we sold it off  :)

I use that hose dazmond, it's terrible in cold weather, always knotting up and very stiff. I spend 2 mins after every house un -coiling it. Hopefully it's better in warmer conditions, iv only had it through the winter.

I quite like the blue pole hose from exceed's tubeless system.
The pole came with 15 metre and I've added anther 30 to it.
Warm water use and all good so far.
