Title: Where is your WFP set up from?
Post by: FRESHER on February 24, 2015, 10:12:12 pm
If you use WPF where did you get your system from?  Sorry If I have missed an obvious name in the business, just tick other and right it down.  Cheers.

I would never pay to have a system build into my van  as its common sense. Its most defo not rocket science. And it will clean just as good as any, even better. The only tools I have bought is poles and had my poles for 5 years and still going strong. I have replaced one brush in that time.

I got free fitting on mine because its top of the range besides I wouldn't have fancied putting the 11 spreader plates in to secure my tank!

Good to see a few with DIY systems. It really isn't rocket science as slap bash says  :)

Cleaning warehouse wolverhampton. Good little system once I'd sorted the water ping out everywhere when I filled it & sorted exposed electric connections.

Mine is from Omnipole.  I got a good deal on the fitting as I part exed some other kit (9 years ago).
Once I got a small unit to rent, I removed the RO from it and connected it to a static tank.
There's nothing fancy about it  - just a tank to which I've connected a DI container (in the very unlikely event that I ever need some tap water from a customer to finish off).
No pump controller - I just alter the flow rate with the pipework having a "return to tank" outlet.  I also have a hoselock style fitting with a plastic tap on the end of the hose.
It's all very basic but much less to go wrong.  I've adapted it over the years so that I can whip the pump out very quickly to prepare for the coldest nights.
Downsides?  Only one really.  The shape of the tank is sort of rhomboid; it means that there's insufficient room to store anything substantial down the side of it.

Some interesting results, DIY very popular and pure freedom is the most popular choice of system.

I think once you have bought, or seen one put together, you then realise that it's quite simply to do yourself.
Just buy a suitable tank and build round it to suit.

Having build quite a few DIY systems and then having my first GrippaMax system. I would never go back to DIY

I know mine is not an off the shelf grippa system but the van drives so nice with it in. Perfect balance and no sea sickness.
