i have owned my grippatank system for 7 months now , i have noticed the tds out of my ro has gone up to 15 from 6 when new , i have twin 21inc ro membranes and the carbon filter is a month old , the water pressure is 60psi out of booster and my tap water is 180 tds , does this seem high or any thoughts regarding this

That's at the low end 92% rejection might be the cold weather.
What ratio pure to waste do you run???

Hi Darren,

Thanks for your question.

The temperature can indeed make a difference to the filtration process (so in the winter, the fillup can time can take a little longer as well as having a higher tds).

The option could be that the waste valve needs a clean - i.e it has some manufacturing debris from the membrane that needs cleaning out. The best way to work out if this is the case is checking what the ratio of waste to pure water is as Avo mentions.

If its easier for you, we can check the above for you next time we are in your area.
