good afternoon,
Please could anyone verify if 2 vac motors 3 stage
will give enough suction at length above 25ft? Like 50?
To make it easier such a motor is listed at Prochems
catalogue under section "SSpare parts" at first position for 130£
Thanks
Simon

Simon, i have used prochem sx2100, powerflite pfx1350 and now airflex pro all at 50ft with ample performance. The prochem had cheap ebay motors and did ok even on those.
my new airflex has the electro sd/hd series setup and works well at 50ft.

Why should you doubt it
Read what manufactures have to say about performance of your Machine
But in my Opinion you will get better performance at 25 feet But some prefer to work longer hoses leave machine outside clients house or on van etc
-
Lewis, what airflex model have you got and what do you think of the powerflite

Gary, had the pro custom for a few weeks now- its 400psi enforcer spec with 2 series electros 17hg/117cfm i think it claims.
The powerflite was a pretty good machine, main downside its almost as tall as me lol! And weight distribution is not as managable as the airflex which is a dream to manovre. The vacuum sounded weaker at 50ft then my steempro, and recovery tank cut off was only letting me use half that recovery tank
Big pro to the powrflite is the heating systems, some say its a problem trapping heat etc all i know is it got steam out the jets at 50ft from tap cold water at 250-300psi 2*1.5 flow jets.
Hope that helps

thanks for all replies.
I was bit concerned because it's about my quite old powermax BUT in decent order, just motors are on a way out.
I try to make the best decision between low cost which is replacement of motors or cost effective- new rinsing machine/second hand.

Id imagine you could upgrade to 1400/1500w of possibly electro -not sure if mountings would be the same
-
Problem's only mentioned 3stage fits in.
At least that I've been told at service centre
-
I think the standard are 1200w but there are 1400/1500w 3 stage all same size. Think i put 1400 in mine.
-
Later today I will upload photos of machine inside since guys told
me that I will not be able to put stronger pump inside.
I wanted to fit in 150 shurflo to that machine. Currently there's 70psi only
thanks

I put a 135 in mine, was exact same dimensions. Mine was the middle model 100psi but same physical size, (the sx2700 is the larger machine)
By the time you have added a pump and two good vacs your approaching £400 i imagine
-
Correc.t Including if so new stronger pump I am looking for around 400 quid. It's still better solution than buying another rinsing machine second hand with God knows condition of it.
-
Pumps are 100-150 and good vacs 100-150 all depends where you buy. Theres a guy on ct selling a airflex pro 135psi for 750 i think, you could get 350-500 for your machine so there is that to consider.

congratulations mate! you just made me more confused than even before!
hah just joking. though it's good to consider such airflex advertised out there.

There are photos from inside. so what I've been told at service centre is basically stronger pump than current 70 psi is not required because it my cause damage on other components such pipes Etc.

I cant imagine the plumbing wont be up to scratch, they would likely use the same piping throughout but its nkt too hard a job to replace, just extra time/cost.
Please check the motors and pumps with anothef member incase they arent correct- links for idea purposes

Cheers man. I'll sort it out.
If you have any questions PM me anytime.
